Modern Classic Living Room & Kitchen Refresh

This beautiful living room in Sidcup was redesigned as part of my Kickstart Package, where the client wanted help creating a cohesive, calming space with a modern, elegant feel. The room already had fantastic natural light and great proportions, but it lacked warmth, flow and finishing touches.

Working closely with the client, I developed a soft, contemporary scheme built around gentle blush tones, layered neutrals and rich teal accents. A large, inviting corner sofa formed the anchor for the space, complemented by a textured rug and a sleek black-framed coffee table to add contrast and definition.

Styling played a key role in elevating the room. I introduced a curated mix of accessories, including soft patterned cushions, greenery, sculptural pieces and glassware to bring depth and personality. The statement shelving unit was dressed with a blend of ceramics, artwork and organic elements to create a modern, balanced display.

To complete the space, a console area was styled with abstract artwork, a sculptural lamp and delicate botanicals, tying the whole colour palette together.

The open-plan kitchen was refreshed to create a more cohesive, modern and inviting space. The scheme blends deep green walls with warm textured brick, soft neutral upholstery and elegant marble-effect flooring.
